Soft top
The good working order of the soft top is essential, whether it is for putting the soft top down or not.
Because it is indeed important for the soft top to be correctly fastened when it is closed, to avoid any windage while driving, and also to avoid that the soft top loses its shape after a long period if it has not been correctly stretched when it is closed. So we have to make sure that no snap fastener is missing and that each of them can be correctly fastened, and take care to replace any defective one. Since a snap fastener is missing on the right side, it is replaced by a new one, fastened with a rivet using a rivet tool, so that the soft top can be completely and perfectly fastened: |

It is also important that the soft top of the car can be put down correctly so that it can be properly folded to drive serenely in good weather.
It was then necessary to install adapted snap fasteners at the back of the top, allowing a fast and easy folding of the soft top.
Disassembly of unadapted snap fasteners, which were not making the correct folding of the soft top easy:

The first step is to install the new adapted snap fasteners on the soft top, by replacing the old ones which have been removed:

Then the second step is to install the adapted fastenings also on the car bodywork:
